New in 2007, ERAHC is offering a year end award program to our members. For this first year we will be requiring nominations fees to help offset the cost of this program. However, unlike other programs requiring a fee, nominations are submitted at the end of the year with your forms. We hope that as this program takes off we will have sponsors to help offset the cost of this program so that nominations fees can be lowered or eliminated in the future. If you are interested in sponsoring year end awards for 2008 contact Jenni Coyle. Year End awards will run concurrent with the calendar year.
A trophy (cooler, halter, gift, etc.) for first and large tri-color rosettes will be awarded in each award division through 6th place. Winners recognized in the ERAHC newsletter as well as the ERAHC website.
Exhibitors and/or owners (see rules) that are current members of ERAHC exhibiting an IALHA registered Andalusian or Half-Andalusian will be eligible for these awards. A Nominations fee of $25 per horse per division is required. A Horse may be nominated for all divisions for a flat fee of $50. Exhibitors will keep track of their own scores / points for the calendar year.
Exhibitors will be responsible for submitting their scores. Scores must be RECEIVED by January 15th 2008 for the 2007 awards year and sent to the ERAHC Year End Awards Chair. Categories may be split Andalusian / Half Andalusian or by level within a division if the number of nominations warrant. If you have any questions about this program please contact Jenni Coyle.

For Year End Awards in categories 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 the exhibitor / handler must be an ERAHC member in good standing for the year in which points are earned AND the Owner / Recorded Leasee must be an ERAHC member in good standing for the year in which points are earned. Awards in these categories are given to the Horse and rider combination accumulating the most points based on the ERAHC point system in Table 1. The owner or exhibitor must submit the nominations form, fee and an official ERAHC Year End Awards Show Record which has been signed by the show secretary at each show. You may also submit copies of USEF results, or a printout of show results from the secretary or show series, but you must highlight the classes you are claiming points for. If more than one record is required additional record sheets should be attached with page numbers written at the top of each page (page 1 of ____, page 2 of ____ etc). Total points will be added together in a division to determine Year End rankings. Points per class will be calculated by adding the points won to the number of entrants that the exhibitor or horse placed above. Examples: An exhibitor placing 3rd in a class of 12 entries will earn 14 points for that class (5 points for 3rd place plus 9 points for each entry they placed above). There are no additional points given for Championships or Championship classes. Only record points for horses defeated that were directly competed against in the class.
| Placing | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th |
